Ball Reiki
Anyone know about Reiki?

I was at work today and I was sooo tired. I had a customer from El Salvador and we were talking. I told her that I was really tired. So she started to rub her hands to there and said something like she was holding an imaginary ball then put her hands over my face. Wow I could feel her energy. I really couldn’t communicate with her to well because I don’t speak spanish very well but, I am now wondering about this technique. Any input?

Reiki is type of what is called “energy work”, of which there are various kinds.

Some believe it works, and some do not. Those with open minds are more likely to have it work for them.

Some might call it a placebo effect, but my opinion is that if a placebo works, use it.

Personally, I believe in Reiki, as well as other forms of energy work. It’s worked for me in the past, and with experienced practitioners, the results can be amazing.

Though it’s a purely subjective examination of the subject, I’ve noticed that different practitioners seem to have different abilities, and that what I feel from one practitioner seems quite different from another. Perhaps it’s just my faith in the particular individual, but that different energy seems to indicate something peculiar to the individual practitioners. Perhaps some day there will be a way to quantify the energy in a more scientific manner.
