Has anyone ever done a sand ceremony indoors?
I want to do an indoor sand ceremony at the church. Need some details on order of things. We are using a glass vase from the craft store with 3 smaller vases filled with colored regular sand. White sand will already be in the larger vase to represent God as the basis of the marriage, then my fiancee will add his blue sand, then I’ll add my tan sand and his 8 year old son will add his light blue sand.
Has anyone done this before and what other details can you add? Does regular craft store sand work or does it have to be the more expensive “crystalline quartz sand” that is advertised on wedding sites?
I performed a beach wedding and they used craft store sand it worked fine. My only advice for indoors is make sure something is underneath the vases to make cleanup of any spills easier.
Congrats & best wishes.

My intention is to try and offer a little something of interest for everyone who may drop by -- in fact, no one should be able to arrive on this website and find nothing whatsoever that catches their notice. And should anyone feel like posting a comment -- why, all the better!
