when your in to spiritual Awakening how important is is to balance your chakra?

I have had many What I call intuitive experience in my life since I Was around 7 years old….and in the last 15 years or so I have learned about the energy centers in our body (chakras)
they say how important it is to visulize to balance these chakras. Ok here is my Question: I didnt know anything about this at 7yrs or teenage yrs. and I was extremly intuitive without balancing my chakras…this teacher where I attend workshops keeps saying to me when I try and share an intuitive experience with her. All shell say is , ” well keep balancing those chakras!”…….
Im getting the feeling that she has no clue or insite to my intuitive experience….. for example my dreams are very prophetic……..I had this horrible Dream about my Brother using needles on his arm. I had woke up crying thinking Oh no he is using street drugs …then when I contacted him he said he found out he was diabetic and started using insulin, what do you think?

I really don’t buy too much into those workshops. You can’t just tell someone to balance their chakras and poof, they’re fixed. When I was 17 I had what they call a “Kundalini Awakening.” It came along with a very powerful epiphany. All this energy shot straight thru my chakra system, they all became perfectly balanced for the first time in my life, I literally felt like I was walking on air for weeks after. No one could have explained o me how to do that, I didn’t know much about the Chakra system at that point and had no idea what it was until later. That’s the only personal insight I have into your question… it is important, but it’s not something you can just do because it sounds like you should. In the years since then I’m no longer that balanced and it is something I need to work on. But don’t put too much stock into what these new age “teachers” say, all our paths are different and we all discover things at our own pace. And by discover, I mean truly experience… not read about or be told.
