My classroom is really hot and my charts and abc cards keep falling off my walls. What can I use 2 hold them?

I have tried those hot glue clips, duct tape and I don’t know what else to try. The heat vents are covered and I can not control the thermostat in my room. Help. I need to be able to put things on my wall. What can I use to keep them from falling off due to the heat?

I can totally relate to your dilemma. The classroom I’m in is in an old building with dry heat blowing out of radiators. Also I don’t have any proper bulletin boards to easily hang any charts, alphabet, calendar etc. I tried just about everything and every morning I would walk in to my classroom to find all my hard work halfway hanging off or laying on the floor.

I got Scotch Heavy Duty Foam Mounting Tape and it worked like a charm. Plus, it’s available in rolls that vary in size. You simply cut as much as you need, peel and stick one side to your chart, then peel and stick the other side to the wall. And it removes easily when you want to change things out. I’ve even used it in spots where the carpet was curling and it did the trick there too. I’ve turned many teachers on to this magic mounting tape that has made decorating in our classrooms easy and frustration free.
