What RAM for my laptop?

I am preparing to upgrade the RAM on my HP nc6120, running on a Pentium M 760 2.0 GHz FSB 533. As for the RAM, the manual is not very clear, and some may say a little misleading. Acting, says "256 MB DDR2 synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) at 400 and 533 MHz, expandable to 2.0 GB. "The problem is that this laptop is running on a stick of DDR PC2700.
