What RAM for my laptop?
I am preparing to upgrade the RAM on my HP nc6120, running on a Pentium M 760 2.0 GHz FSB 533. As for the RAM, the manual is not very clear, and some may say a little misleading. Acting, says "256 MB DDR2 synchronous DRAM (SDRAM) at 400 and 533 MHz, expandable to 2.0 GB. "The problem is that this laptop is running on a stick of DDR PC2700. You can not put them in a DDR2 slot DDR, so I have said. Anyway, my question. I put two sticks x 1GB PC3200 instead of PC2700. That's what makes it run faster than two 1 GB PC2700 x, since the processor use? I'll have to adjust something in the BIOS, if I can do? Thanks!
There is no need for adjustment, and the speed difference is negligible.
