Why do I get this error message: Your message was not sent?

Suspicious activity has been detected on your account. To protect your account and our users, your message has not been sent.

This glitch has been happening for several days now many people are getting this message. It usually happens if you have sent a lot of mail at once and Yahoo suspect spamming. However currently it is affecting ordinary users. Considering the number of users asking this I am surprised there is no response from Yahoo on the suggestion board.
