How to sew together a full face mask… almost a hood, really?

I’m looking to make a mask like Deadpool or Rorshach – a cloth mask that covers all my head and face. I was wondering how to do that so it fit properly, what materials work best and is there any see-through material i could put over the eyes so that I could see out, but no one see in? Let me link some pics to show you the mask type I’m going for:

the trouble with finding a halloween costume pattern is they are not going to come up with a mask that covers the entire face.
the fist link to the white and black mask is pretty simple. looks like a thin cotton stretch fabric. and finding material to see out of, but not see into is going to be difficult to find. something thin and black, but it just isn’t going to give the wearer much vision
