How long can natural gut last & restringing opinions needed?

I’m thinking of restringing my racket(im now using pure synthetic which was default when i brought the racquet) to hybrid synthetic and natural gut (quality would be slightly above average, not from top brands). The thing worries me is how long can the natural gut last before it burst?
Also, i was thinking of stringing at ~52lbs for lower tension since im a beginner. Please give me some feedbacks and remarks.

I string my own racquets, and I have tried many different combinations and now use Natural Gut in the mains and Wilson NXT in the crosses (both at 56 pounds). How long your string last depends on how much you play, how hard you hit, and how much topspin you put on the ball. The brand of Natural Gut you pick also makes a difference, because some have a better coating than others. I use Babolat Tonic, at a 16 gauge. Moisture destroys Natural Gut pretty quickly, so avoid hitting in wet conditions (puddles and wet balls, for example). My strings last me about 4-6 weeks, but I also play 6 times a week, and I hit with a lot of topspin. Some people just are not string breakers. I would definitely try it, to see if it works for you. But you might want a higher tension to give you a tad more control, since you are a beginner. Good luck!
