People talk bad/look down upon Air Force Police/Security Force?

So I have friends in Air Force and Navy, and all of them says being Air Force Police is the most stupidest job you can get. Most of the time you get placed in Air Force Security Force because you failed the test etc. They even said you gota be stupid/dumb to be placed there. I want to know if it is true?

Not at all. Many ignorant people may believe this because it is often easier to get into SF than some of the other Air Force Specialties and the only reason for that is because they are one of the Larger specialties in the AF or in essence, require more people to fill all of the available slots to continue being mission capable. In actuality they have a very diverse job and being stupid or dumb is Not going to get you a slot in SF’s at all and in all likely-hood, no job in the AF period. The one thing I can say about the AF overall is there are some tough jobs and SF is one of them and if you want to, run by what the ASVAB scores are to get into SF I can assure you it is no where near a bare minimum of a 30GT.
