Who wrote the Wiccan Rede? Do what you want, as long as no harm to anyone (1959) – by GB Gardner?

No damage, do what I eat, the Rede of WiccaeC by Adriana Porter, or perhaps is: an evil that do what you want, the Wiccan Rede, by unknown author. Consider the source of many Wiccan Rede. Pleople Some say it's old, but has not found its way into print until 1975. others say it was written by G. Gardner, A. Porter, Sybil Leek, Doreen Valiente Cwener and Mrs. Thompson. Most of these responses are completely wrong, but do not know who wrote "And harm none, do what I want." We know that the term was around 1964, because contributions to the public Valiente. Gardner expresses the general feeling in the 50's, although that does not use the exact words. It refers to a certain Pausole King, who is, ironically, a fictional character a book published at the end of the century. In 1975, Gwen Thompson issued Wiccae Rede, a poem ends Wiccan Rede important. The poem is attributed to Adriana Porter, her grandmother. No evidence Rede Wiccae to suggest it was not invented by Thompson and his coven, but Wiccan Rede Rede predates the Wiccae. I guess the phrase was created by Gardner and Valiente, but do not know for true. They are the first references to it, and no evidence of anyone else as an alternative. There is no reason whatsoever to think that the old one.
