What are the advantages and disadvantages to learn to fly a helicopter school in relation to their learning of the army?
I commercial helicopter flying as a career. I have two options to enter the army and learn from them or go to college, get a degree of AS and spend my time in flight school. What are the advantages and disadvantages, and why?
Military helicopter training is the best there is, but the winner is very competitive. The Army, the unreserved acceptance to college, but I think other needed services. This is a multi-year commitment of time after qualification, depending on the service. Commercial helicopter pilots use most of the same skills as military helicopter pilots do (that not blasting tanks with a chain gun or air assault combat), so that training and transfer to civilian life. civilian training is good if you train in a quality school and once qualified, you are ready to start earning a living (probably as an instructor at the start time of construction). Many helicopter flight schools have connections in the industry to provide employment opportunities, if not jobs, so even if the construction time can be connected to the industry. In general, the employment situation is slightly better for helicopter pilots and airline pilots, if you're willing to go where the work is. In many cases, the helicopters are essential tools for the company instead of supplements that can be removed if the economy goes to the south.
