How do I configure Ubuntu server to send mail in PHP?

I need a step by step guide on how to move Apache / PHP Apache / PHP + sending mail. Must include: * commands to install any configuration of the router * and a sample script. I tried to have a good setup e-mail for years. I do not like to receive emails, simply send! Thanks for the help!

In php.ini, you must set the direction the SMTP server. (Just look for -. SMTP Mail it in this section) TThen using PHP () to send mail. As this is an outbound connection, you have to do something with the router. Of Examples? http://php.net/manual/en/function.mail.php always go the online manual for examples.
