How can I get Vista to connect automatically to unsecured Wi-Fi?

When I’m on the train I always see these connections and I wish that my laptop would automatically connect to these unsecured networks so that I could have access to the web. How can I make Vista automatically connect to all unsecured networks like the iPhone does?
Is there anyway for me to get Vista to automatically connect to unsecured networks, anyway?

You won’t be able to do that because you are in a train. By the time your computer is doing the connection with the wireless router you will be far away and out of range. The Iphone uses at&t signal which is pretty much everywhere.
